Copilot Cowork plugins extend what Cowork can do by adding new skills and connectors. Skills teach Cowork domain expertise like financial analysis or customer service, while connectors link it to external data and services so it can read and act on information outside Microsoft 365.
To add a plugin, open a Cowork conversation, select the + button, choose Customize, and browse the Microsoft 365 App Store. Your admin can also deploy plugins for your whole organization. Cowork requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and is billed by usage in Copilot Credits.
There are currently 18 plugins available, from Microsoft integrations like Fabric IQ and Dynamics 365 to partner services like Miro, monday.com, and Morningstar. Browse the full plugin list or check the FAQ below.

They are distributed through the Microsoft 365 App Store, and your admin can also deploy them for you.
Open a conversation in Cowork or go to the Cowork home page, select the + button, and choose Customize. Browse or search the Microsoft 365 App Store, then select a plugin to add it. You can enable or disable any acquired plugin at any time from the Sources & Skills panel.

You can add plugins yourself if your admin has approved them for your organization. Admins can also deploy plugins org-wide, which appear automatically and can't be removed by users (though you can still toggle them off per session). Some plugins must be approved before they show up in your list.
Skills are specialized capabilities that teach Cowork new domain expertise, such as financial analysis, legal research, or HR workflows. Connectors link Cowork to external data sources and services so it can retrieve or act on information outside of Microsoft 365. A single plugin can include skills, connectors, or both.
Yes. Organizations can build custom plugins for Cowork using the same package format as Microsoft and partner plugins, and they can include both skills and connectors. Admins deploy custom plugins through the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Enable or disable any plugin from the Sources & Skills panel. To remove a plugin you added yourself, open Customize, find the plugin, and select Remove from Cowork. Admin-deployed plugins can't be removed by users, but you can still disable them for your own sessions.
